☠ 6th Haunt ☠ - [Video]

[It's near noon, and Perona's just gotten out of bed. Still groggy, she rubs her eyes and nearly trips over her journal on the way to the bathroom to wash up. The jolt from her foot initiates the video feed and Perona grumbles, picking up the journal and tossing it carelessly onto her bed where it lays open and records a nice view of the young woman in her white, ruffly pajamas and messy hair as she stretches and bumbles her way towards her bathroom, yawning loudly. Ugh...waking up is so hard...and its started getting colder now, too.

The sound of running water and splashing can be heard off in the distance for a few minutes before Perona returns, looking a little more alert. Her bangs have been clipped back and she's rubbing her face with a washcloth, tossing it in the corner when she's finished.]

Mmmaah...what should I wear today? I don't have enough clothes for this kind of weather... [Perona whines.] If only some of my cute and elegant clothing got dropped off here, too. I wouldn't have this problem! And there's never anything I really like in the shops. Bleeeh...these people don't know class. Maybe I can make a few thing again, but I'll need a sewing machine and good fabric... If there were a specialty store, maybe...

[And where the hell will she get these things, though? Uuugh, this honestly sucks! Why can't there be a shop that specifically sells gothic lolita style clothes? Or cute things! Soft pastels with ruffles and lace and good, quality boots! She really has to turn these stores inside out to find something nice. Hell, even a decent sweater and coat, or just a shawl.

With a defeated sigh, Perona flops backwards onto her bed, the journal bouncing slightly, and kicks her feet off the edge of her bed.]

Aaahh...I don't want to go out! I should shop, but if it's cold, I just want to sleep all day...and drink cocoa...and have a bagel sandwich... And someone tall and handsome to serve it to me.

[Somewhere deep under the rigidly enforced geas, Smoker hated this. He hated it a lot. He hated the nearly robotic way his body moved to follow some bizarre command that wasn't even an order. He hated the suit, the bowtie, the perfectly straight hair, and whole butler vibe that the Malnosso experiment had put him under. Oh how he hated it. He hated it more than that time he'd been forced to dance around and sing. He hated it more than both times he had been "married" to someone, but not for real. He hated it more than skim milk, poodles, and almost as much as he hated pirates.]

[He knocked on the door.]

[Not because he wanted to. Oh no. If this was any other day on any other given situation or if he had just an ounce more willpower, he'd be as far away from here as possible.]

[Alas, for the want of a rebellion.]

Miss, I have your hot chocolate and bagel sandwich.

[His teeth were going to crack from this. Crack. At least they let him have his cigars. But he was in a suit playing butler, not much could make this day worse. Not even being kidnapped by pirates. Especially since he's already had so much of that happen it might as well be moot by now.]

[Rock Lee sees her there and remembers the ball - how he accidentally offended her. So, he it's time to start truly clearing things up and making amends. And he'll start with-]

[-a bombastic declaration of his name.]

[It's only the mention of a sewing machine that grabs Guy's attention. Partially because of the machine, yes, but also because it brings a certain someone to mind.

Time to play helper angel to this strange young woman, then.]

You know... I might just know a person that could help you out with some nice clothes. If you're interested, that is.

[ASDHFJKFR--!! Suddenly there is screaming?! Why is there screaming?! Perona screams herself, jumping up and collapsing off her bed in the process. What the hell was that?! Clutching her chest with one hand, shaking slightly, she clambers back up onto her bed and looks around the room swiftly. Who...wha....wh-where did that come fro--

Oh...her journal. B| Heart still hammering in her chest, Perona bristles.]

IDIOT! DON'T SCREAM OVER THE JOURNALS LIKE THAT - YOU TERRIFIED ME!!

[Perona had, at the very least, gotten to the kitchen by this point, though she was still in her pajamas and slippers. She had been poring through the cupboards and her fridge for something to throw together for brunch when she lifts her head up. Who the hell could that be at the door? As far as she knew, she never disclosed her location to anyone...she tried her best to keep that kind of thing very hush-hush.

So, it's with hesitation that she heads to the door and opens it, unsure just what - or who - to expect.]

Perona balks, jumping back with a yelp of shock and nearly tumbling over a piece of furniture. Thankfully, she remains upright, but that's not the real issue here. IS THAT SMOKER?! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HE WEARING AND JUST...WHAT.

[After the first hollering youth, Perona's not at all surprised more people heard her. Though it is a little troublesome, considering she didn't plan for anyone to hear her. Though this...this seems promising (unlike that other loudmouth idiot). As she lays on her stomach, far too ruffled from earlier to do anything else, Perona kicks her feet back and forth over her head, leaning her cheek on one hand.]

Eeeh? Is that right? My tastes aren't like other peoples'...how can I be sure I'll be satisfied? [She needs some kind of reference material, yo.]

I'd show you some examples if I had them with me. Back at home, he was a master at designing clothes for other people. I'm not sure if he ever even took my measurements, and yet everything that he ever gave me fit like a glove. He's done work for men and women, both young and old... heh, he even did a couple costumes for a whole group of us as a surprise one day. Everything fit perfectly.

Plus... not gonna lie, but he knows how to flatter a figure. I'm sure he'd love to work with a girl who knows what she wants.

[He can't be serious...] Introduction?! What kind of person introduces himself by screaming like that?! Are you ill? I didn't think you'd be any worse than you were back then. I liked you better when you didn't speak...

[Hm...that all sounds very promising. Perona listens carefully, hanging onto every word. This man seems very skilled, though she wishes she could actually see some of his work to make her decision. Still, there is the fact that she does indeed know what she wants, and Perona's pretty good with letting other people know what she wants and how she wants it, and how soon.]

[Ahah, well...that could be either an insult or a euphemism. Perona will just remain quiet, though she does rub her face with one hand. Oh boy, oh boy...]

At my service? Well then, I should hope you'll serve me well, Mr. Green Beast. I could use a good breakfast after being startled so. [She's joking, but maybe he'll actually do it.]

Very well! Select your order... and I shall deliver it to you! No matter the location or weather conditions!

[HELL YES. A new, overly eager, and stupid pack mule? Perona's all over this, ehehe... Her lips spread into a wicked smile and then she tilts her head to one side.]

A bagel sandwich...lightly floured, toasted, with melted cheddar cheese - one slice on each side - with egg whites only. Oh, and make sure there's not too much oil...and exactly three slices of lean ham. Oh, and some cocoa...not too sweet, with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.

And I want it all here by the time I'm finished my shower...about forty minutes, I think? Can you do that, Mr. Green Beast?
